They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of brade and the prayers" Act 2:42
Every Wednesday at UPC the church is alive with children and youth, bringing a new level of energy and excitement to the entire congregation.
The LOGOS Ministry believes that “Nurturing people, especially youth and chil dren into right relationship of faith with God through Jesus Christ is the most important thing the church ever does!"
What does LOGOS do?
Every Wednesday at LOGOS children and youth participate in 4 integral parts. These four parts are taken from Acts 2:42. All are equally important and when they are put together in this setting transformation can happen. Here are the four parts of LOGOS.

Bible Study
Bible Study is the most important part of LOGOS! The goal of Bible study is to nurture children and youth into intelligent, obedient, and Biblically informed discipleship.
Family Time
Family Time is the most important part of LOGOS! In family time we seek to provide a joyous, cross- generational celebration of personhood over a shared meal as we experience being the family of God.
Recreation Play
Recreation Play is the most important part of LOGOS! In r
ecreation play we experience great fun at the expense of no one else.
Worship Skills
Worship Skills is the most impor- tant part of LOGOS! Worship skills help children and youth develop responsibility for and practice in worship skills because worship is our primary service to God as disciples.
What Is LOGOS?
The LOGOS Ministry is the theology and practice of Christian relationships in a disciplined, midweek, four-part format that creates an ideal setting for Christian nurture.
The philosophy of LOGOS is that Christian relationships are best learned in Christian communities where the selfless kind of caring for others found uniquely in Christ is intentionally taught and practiced.
Through participation in each Wednesday’s activities, children and youth from first grade through high school, experience God’s unconditional love and have an opportunity to share that love with their peers and adult leaders.
LOGOS enables churches to offer its young people the positive experience of “summer camp” on a weekly basis.
LOGOS builds an individual’s self-esteem, supports the development of solid Christian values, and creates and reinforces inter-generational relationships.
